Federal Programs
Title I
Title I is the largest federally funded educational program. A Title I school is a school receiving federal funds to be used to assist in meeting students' educational needs.
RTSD uses these funds for Title support staffing at Wayne Elementary School.
Title II
Title II funds are designed to support states and districts in recruiting, preparing, training and developing teachers and school leaders.
RTSD uses these funds for class size reduction staffing at Wayne Elementary School.
Title III
The purpose of Title III is to help ensure that English learners (ELs) attain English language proficiency and meet state academic standards.
RTSD uses these funds to support a summer English Language Development (ELD) Camp.
Title IV
Title IV funds have a variety of purposes and can be used in different ways.
Nearly all RTSD Title IV funds are allocated to support our non-public institutions.
